Rabbi David Okunov (Warbasse Jewish Heritage Congregation) is a great caring community leader. During the pandemic, he hosted many food distributions & personally delivered food packages to seniors & ppl w/disabilities. Was happy to join Rabbi & present him New York City Council Citation.

Update from O’Dwyer Gardens. NYCHA emergency workers did show up and started to fix broken pipes. They temporary stopped bursting water and continue working to resolve the issue.

I have just sent to NYCHA emergency team all the information about serious water bursting problem in O'Dwyer Gardens, 2975 West 33rd Street, the entire F-line (from the 8th floor to the 1st floor). Will follow up again until the problem would be resolved.

Shawn Hodges is the owner of Community Driving Program. He offers free driving lesson to teens ages 16-18 who sign up when he attends various Coney Island events and job fairs. Shawn also offers a discounted rate to NYCHA residents, students, & other community members. Congrats!

Viktoriia Viennikova is a leader in Ukrainian American Community. She supported young talents & wounded Ukrainian soldiers, performed Ukrainian & American songs @ charity event in CI & Eastern European Heritage Day in Gracie Mansion.

Do not believe anyone who will tell you that our current budget gap has nothing to do w/multibillion migrant crisis, irresponsible spending allocations by NYC Council (like $38 mln. to expedite release of Rikers detainees) or wrong budget priorities. This crisis was predictable.
