Thanks to staff at Port Glasgow Library this morning for supporting 2 adult learners to join the library. We also found out how to browse the online library catalogue and how to sign up to their Summer Reading Challenges- one for children and one for adults Inverclyde Libraries

We are pleased to celebrate 6 of our Port Glasgow ESOL learners completing their course and achieving an SQA Personal Achievement Award which is testament to their hard work, resilience and progress in both their language and personal development. Inverclyde Council

We had a fantastic day celebrating the end of term at our central Greenock ESOL provision. Learners also achieved an SQA qualification for the first time this term. We couldn't do this without our amazing volunteers too, who support our provision. @inve

Another of our learners had just passed their Driving Theory Test as well as being supported to acess the ILF Scottish Transition Fund for training funding to support apprenticeship applications.We currently have 3 spaces at Auchmountain Halls in this session.

We have our new Speak Gaelic beginners course starting soon. Information session is Monday 1st of September at Notre Dame High School, 6.30pm. We will have a Monday evening session and if there is enough demand, a day time class also. Inverclyde Council

Unfortunately, due to circumstances outwith our control the Community Council meeting at King's Oak Primary this evening has been postponed. A rescheduled date will be sent ASAP.

Another great turnout this morning at the Inverclyde Practitioners Forum (IPF) event @ the South West Community Hub. Over 50 practitioners, 3 presentations & 14 information tables highlighting local & national organisations supporting the people of Inverclyde.

Great to see our successful new SQA Cooking with Numeracy getting underway at Port Glasgow Community Hub. 11 new participants joined our class to learn in a practical way about healthy eating and the numeracy skills needed. Inverclyde Council
