Seth literally worked through recovery from brain surgery to finish his projects. My move during the pandemic limited us to communicating virtually, I only found out about his condition third party. He had never brought it up with me and kept working through it. Truly a legend.

Was an absolute blast having Laura DeLong Wood out for the UCI Cancer Research Institute seminar series to share her cutting edge insights on the striking heterogeneity in pancreatic cancer pre-cursor lesions. Can’t believe we forgot to grab a photo, guess you will have to come back to OC!

I’m trying something new, traveling for more than a weekend unrelated to work or visiting family. I’ve been told this is called a vacation, wish me luck!

Celebrating graduation with our first batch of undergraduate researchers Natalie, Ethan, and Tiffany! Grateful for all their contributions to our work, and excited to see where their bright futures take them.
