It's been "complete madness" in Gaza since day 1 of the war. I think what this reveals is that Biden served as a brake on Europe acting more forcefully by insisting that only "no daylight" support for Israel could improve the situation. With Trump, that pretense is gone.

The murder of a young couple who worked for the Israeli embassy as they were coming out of a community event at the Capital Jewish Museum is horrifying. May their memories be a blessing. Political violence and antisemitism are unacceptable and should be unequivocally condemned.

The constant denial of this fact is the foundational lie upon which the Biden administration’s policy, and now Trump’s, was built. The architects of that policy need to be made to answer for it.
