The discomfort about the word race, especially in Germany, is something we need to overcome if we want to address racism. While we still keep debating that race isn't biological and thus should no be, the reality of racism continues to impact BIPoC. #race #intersectionaljustice

Racism does not have to happen intentionally; it exists without a conscious effort to discriminate. Racial discrimination can happen quietly, unwittingly, however, that does not minimize the harm or impact certain words, actions, and mechanisms have. #race bit.ly/2Z2zAq6

It's crucial to have #race listed as a discrimination category in the German constitution. That way we can not only fight against the more obvious racism - mostly on an individual level - but also the less visible institutional and structural racism. bit.ly/2Z2zAq6
