Our Bear Metal Bears competed in the FIRST Robotics Competition in Kenner on April 3-5. The team competed with their robot as part of an alliance to score points through different tasks. Thanks for representing CHS so well!

The 1894 Challenge totals are in and because of your support, we raised over $196,000 on Challenge day, $30,000 at Bears Bingo, and established a new class scholarship! We are grateful for our donors who help provide our bears with an outstanding high school experience!

Mrs. Metz's junior American literature classes recently had the pleasure of hosting Vietnam veterans, Mr. Jim Haslitt & Mr. Wame Waggenspack '67. Both shared their experiences serving in the war and also discussed Tim O'Brien's book, "The Things They Carried."

Senior Miles Babin was presented the CODOFIL Award 2025 and a $500 award by CHS French Teacher, Nini Ramos-Grasa. The award is presented to a High School Senior that has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to the French language in both their personal and academic life.

The Class of 2025 celebrated its last official day of classes with a crawfish boil and snoballs in the courtyard. The CHS Men's Club served the crawfish and hamburgers to our soon-to-be-grads. Now on to the last task before graduation: FINALS! Best of luck, Bears! Finish strong!
