**I-15 TEMPORARY CLOSURE** All NB lanes of I-15 near mile marker 133, south of Baker are currently closed due to a commercial vehicle fire. All NB traffic will be rerouted back south at Zzyzx Road. Fire crews are estimating 3 hours to contain the fire. SB lanes are still open.

**CLOSURE UPDATE** Fire conditions have improved. Traffic is beginning to move slowly through the center divider. The previous closure at Zzyzx Road will be lifted. Proceed through the area with caution. Emergency crews are still actively working to re-open all lanes.

**CLOSURE UPDATE** The #1 (left lane) of northbound I-15 is open. Traffic will continue to pass in the median and #1 lane. The #2 will remain closed for emergency crews to extinguish the flames and cleanup the scene.

**I-40 TEMPORARY CLOSURE** Eastbound I-40 at the I-15/40 split in Barstow is closed for approximately one hour due to an ongoing crash. The alternate route of travel is NB I-15 and exit at Ghost Town Road. Continue south and merge onto I-40 at Daggett Road.

**I-40 OPEN** Eastbound I-40 in Barstow has reopened all lanes. Traffic may still be moving slowly in the area. Proceed with caution. ⚠️

Road Closure - SR-247 (Barstow Road) at the south City limits of Barstow. Heavy rain in the area, large rocks and debris upon the roadway and heavy flooding across the roadway. Traffic being turned around in either direction. Drive slowly, use caution in the area.

🚨SR-247 CLOSURE🚨 08/27/25 @ 1630 SR-247 will be closed between the Barstow Veterans Home and Northside Road for multiple days due to damage from the recent storm. The road will be accessible for residents only. Caltrans is working on repairing the road as quickly as possible.

🚨*I-40 CLOSURE*🚨 I-40 eastbound is closed at Fort Cady Road due to crashes from the extreme weather conditions and low visibility. Traffic is being diverted to National Trails Highway. Cleanup is estimated to take 5-6 hours. Westbound remains open. Use caution in the area.

*Traffic Alert* Heavy rains and roadway flooding are occurring throughout the area, especially in Mountain Pass near state line. Use caution and drive safely through the area. Multiple crashes are occurring. Be aware of your surroundings and watch for emergency crews at work.

SR-247 has been closed at Veterans Parkway and Northside Road due to active roadway flooding and debris. Avoid the area until further notice. Emergency crews are in the area actively working on the situation.

*Traffic Advisory* All lanes of I-15 northbound are blocked north of Nipton Road due to an overturned semi truck and trailer. The closure is for an unknown duration, but crews are working on clearing the road. All traffic will be diverted off at Nipton Road. Expect delays.
