What a fantastic couple of days our Year 8 students have had visiting their capital city🇬🇧 This paid for trip included a ride on the Thames River Cruise and a go on the London Eye. Our students enjoyed spotting all the famous landmarks! All in the sunshine 🌞

Our Extra Curricular Sports timetable is busy this half term! These sessions are always really popular, it's great to see so many of our students attending!🏸🏏🤺

This morning we held a parent gathering about how our parents can support their child with completing our ‘Brettow Award’. There was lots of information to take on board and the parents had lots of positive feedback!

Last weekend 2 of our staff ran the TCS London Marathon they had the aspiration. Put in the commitment and finished with success. Well done !

Today we took 15 of our HPA students on a trip to University of Oxford to raise their aspirations of attending one of the countries top universities. They took a tour of St Edmunds College as well as taking part in a chemistry workshop!

Yesterday we took some of our Year 9 students to The University of Sheffield to graduate from the The Brilliant Club scholars programme!🎓 These students have been working hard all year with their PHD tutor and completed a mini dissertation, some of them even received a first!

Today some of our Year 8 students are volunteering at our local food bank WesleyHall They have served members of their community by registering people, taking payments and helping bag up items. A fantastic experience for these Year 8s!👏

Our Crown Hills Community College sports leaders are here at Saffron Lane Athletics Stadium officiating track & field events for our Leicester, Leicestershire & Rutland KS2 Parallel Athletics competition today. First time for these students and they’re being fantastic role models #Leadingtheway

Congratulations to these students who took part in the Junior Maths Challenge and were awarded with gold certificates for receiving the highest scores. They were also presented with 'Maths Leader' badges and celebrated at lunch time with a slice of cake!🍰🧮 UK Maths Trust
