Today commemorates the 20th anniversary of the devastating events of 9/11. But on this dark day, there were heroes who helped those in need. In SAVED BY THE BOATS young readers can learn the rarely told story about the sea captains and crews that rescued 500,000 people that day.

CG 4th & 5th grade are completing projects using engineering to solve problems. Here we have a shelter, an irrigation system and a couple of CAD ideas to tackle pollution. The creativity is fun to see and will be important to solving the real problems! Center Grove

I keep trying new label ideas and the day I added this to a shelf, a student came over to tell me how easy it was to find his space book. Maybe it sounds silly but that really helped me keep working on this! Students will read more if they can search independently and easily!
