CGHS science teacher Danielle Myers received a grant from the Center Grove Education Foundation to purchase additional lab equipment. Purchasing two additional water baths and one additional micro-centrifuge will allow more classes to be able to engage in advanced experiments.

Alexandra Crouse, James Hopper, and Paige Staab are this year's recipients of the Center Grove Scholarship Fund Award of Excellence. These scholarships take into consideration grades, school activities, and community service.

Valeria Arriz, Paisley Carter, Tyler Lane, and Quinn Smith are the 2025 recipients of the Christian "Binky" Nikou Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship was established in memory of Christian “Binky” Nikou, who passed away in 2021. Binky was a CGHS alumnus from the Class of 2006.

Congratulations to Emerson Vlcan, this year's recipient of the Dale and Carol Tumey Scholarship. This scholarship is awarded to an outstanding senior female student who will be attending an accredited four-year college.

The Center Grove Education Foundation is funding District Innovation Coach Erin Brown's request for Ozobots. Ozobots are small, programmable robots designed to introduce learners of all ages to coding and robotics in an engaging and interactive manner.

Audrey Booher is the 2025 recipient of the David A. Hicks Memorial Scholarship. This award honors David Hicks, a founding member of CGEF, well known for his involvement in many youth activities, especially Junior Achievement of Johnson County.

Melody Freeman and Charlotte Lage are the 2025 recipients of the Denney French History Scholarship. It honors the memory of Denney French, a Superintendent of Schools at Center Grove who loved the challenge of history.

CGHS teacher Deb Schoolcraft received a grant for Arduino sensors and components to be used by our Robotics and Manufacturing classes. They will be able to use these resources to gain on-the-job experience that they would not be able to acquire in the classroom.

Congratulations to Benjamin Baranko and Makayla Sheley, this year's recipients of the Center Grove Optimists Club/Lee Webb Scholarship. This is awarded to a student who exhibits integrity and the leadership qualities of Dr. Lee Webb, former Superintendent of Schools at CG.

The Flynn Family Music Scholarship is awarded to a Center Grove senior planning on pursuing any music major in college. Criteria include 2 years minimum participation in any music activity or group or theatre activity while at CGHS. Congratulations to Nora Bowman!

MGES teacher Mika Stark received a grant from the CGEF to purchase a 3D printer and supporting resources. "Through 3D design and printing, students will explore real-world applications in a way that fosters creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration."

Congratulations to Mallory Casper, Rose Eckhart, Noah Emmons, Isabella Ferguson, Kiersten Green, and Owen Neely, this year's recipients of the Friends Forever Scholarship. This scholarship honors the memory of CG graduates, Joseph Alexander, Nicolas Habicht, and Jacob Surface.

Melody Freeman is the first recipient of the Gary Robsinson Memorial Scholarship. Gary dedicated 43 years of his life to educating and shaping young minds as a public school teacher at Center Grove Middle School Central.
