As Chairman, part of my responsibility is to build the bench for the future CFTC workforce. I hope law school students and recent graduates will attend this event and learn about joining us.

Today we pause and reflect on the events of September 11. We will never forget who we lost and always thank the heroism of first responders who helped so many and sacrificed so much. I am grateful for all CFTC employees who were in the WTC who all made it out safely.
