Hero of the month for March goes to San for bringing a smile to work and working tirelessly. Well deserved recognition for the staff on C25. I feel honoured to be part of this dedicated and caring team.

Went for an open water swim for 20 minutes yesterday up in the Lake District. Very cold but invigorating. Little fishes were nibbling my toes if I stood on the bottom of the lake.

New Years dip at Colwick lake, Nottingham #newyearswimmers

I retired this month too after nearly 43 years working in the NHS. Started at aged 17 in Wolverhampton and came to Nottingham in 1981. Many changes have taken place but patient care is still a priority. I'll be back!
