We visited Basildon Hospital this morning to learn how Essex Pedal Power Basildon is creating positive change in a hospital setting.

We heard from speakers from Health Anchors Learning Network, The Active Wellbeing Society 🌍 & Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust about the current progress to date, as well as discuss next steps.

👏Great example how anchor organisations can support staff to be active while also reducing emissions.

Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust teamed up with ActiveEssex to provide bikes to staff at Basildon hospital, increasing activity, reducing commute time and costs, and cut car journeys.
