The school where I teach is in the middle of that block. That toxic Gowanus water flooded some of our classrooms and cafeteria, and a lot of our families had to wade through it to get to school.

Today's attendance data is now live — and down dramatically since yesterday.
77% attendance rate as flooding, subway suspensions impacted kids' commutes to schools. (The rate was over 90% on Thurs.)
