The Republican reconciliation bill: - Slashes Medicaid and the ACA by $715 billion. - Strips health coverage from 13.7 million Americans. - Hands a $1.2 trillion tax break to the richest 1%. This is cruel, reckless, and must be stopped.

After Winter Storm Uri killed multiple Texans, the CEO of a company that made billions during the crisis donated $1 million to Governor Greg Abbott’s campaign. We need campaign finance reform. Now. I’m proud that the average donation to our campaign is $50. That’s grassroots.

Praying for former President Biden and wishing him strength and healing during this difficult time.

This is why I called on Greg Abbott to hold a *June* election to fill the TX-18 seat. Republicans in Congress are cutting SNAP benefits that help people, & our district has no one to fight for us. Abbott is leaving our district voiceless—& hurting real people in the process.

Deeply saddened by the deadly act of violence in Washington D.C. last night. I’m praying for the victims and their loved ones. We must continue to stand firm against antisemitism and all forms of violence and hate.
