I was honoured to briefly speak to ADFinPNG staff and their spouses today as part of their orientation to #PNG. I spoke of the unique relationship the #PNGDF has with #YourADF and also on the importance of families and the role they play.

Today begins a 2 day Seminar involving Foreign Defence Attaches and Advisers to PNG. The participants are from Japan, Australia, India, UK, US, Indonesia, France, Canada. Also in attendance will be our PNGDF Defence Attaches.

It gave me pleasure to have declared the 2020 Lead System Course open, led by our Directorate of Leadership. Thank you NZ Defence Force and the Institute of Leader Development for the guidance and support towards developing our Leadership Framework.

A chartered vessel, the MV BOSAVI, has arrived in Daru in Western Province and unloaded 🇵🇬 Police, Customs and Defence Force personnel, cargo and watercraft. We worked with Ewen McDonald staff, AFP and PNG authorities on this important #COVID19 mission.
