The CDC carries out the COP survey annually to measure the on-farm cost of producing a hectolitre of milk (100 litres). The indexed cost of production (iCOP) figures are used to set milk prices. The Cost of Production Survey for 2024 is now available: cdc-ccl.ca/en/node/643
