Black women are paid just 64 cents for every dollar paid to white men. That’s not just a gap—it’s an injustice. This #BlackWomensEqualPayDay, we’re calling it what it is and demanding action. Pay Black women what they’re owed. iwpr.org/black-womens-e… #DemandMore #PayEquityNow

We must ensure young Black women entering the workforce are supported at work and fairly compensated, which lays a foundation for equal pay throughout their careers. #BlackWomensEqualPay share.equalrights.org/s/hUsiI7kR

When Black women are paid less than their white counterparts, it impacts their finances today & financial futures. An economy that supports Black women is an economy that supports us all. #BlackWomensEqualPayDay share.equalrights.org/s/mbN0SOs8

On this #BlackWomensEqualPayDay, we are calling attention to the intentional dismantling of opportunities for Black women. We are demanding to end the attack on Black women’s economic security by embracing DEI programs and strengthening the workplace rights that benefit everyone.

On average, Black women are paid just 63 cents for every dollar paid to white, non-Hispanic men. This gap affects not just pay, but access to opportunities. Let’s educate, advocate, and close the gap. #BlackWomensEqualPayDay #FightTheGap

📊 In 1967, Black women were paid 43 cents for every dollar white non-Hispanic men were paid. 📊 In 2023, they were paid 66 cents. That’s 56 years and only a 23-cent gain. Black women deserve more than slow progress. They deserve equal pay. #BlackWomensEqualPayDay

For low-income Black women especially, closing the #WageGap would put the actual money they’ve earned in their pocket to take care of themselves and their families. Anything less simply isn't acceptable. #BlackWomensEqualPayDay share.equalrights.org/s/TCFqw4MQ

Over a 40-year career, Black women working full-time year-round lose over $1 million to the wage gap. That’s $1 million not going toward a home, retirement, education, child care, or generational wealth. iwpr.org/black-womens-e…

💡 Did you know? Nearly 4x more Black women earned bachelor’s degrees in 2021 than in 1976. But here’s the problem: Black women STILL get paid less than white non-Hispanic men even when they have more education. #BlackWomensEqualPayDay share.equalrights.org/s/KLtoRhKM

🚨 Today is Black Women's Equal Pay Day—a reminder that Black women are STILL fighting for economic justice. Recent attacks on federal jobs and DEI programs are making things worse. It's time to act. #BlackWomensEqualPayDay

It’s time to close the wage gap. For every dollar white men earn, Black women are paid significantly less. This disparity has deep roots, but together we can make a difference. Let’s work towards equal pay for all. #EqualPayForAll #BlackWomenMatter #BlackWomensEqualPayDay

Today is Black Women’s Equal Pay Day — the date when Black women’s earnings finally catch up to what white men made at the end of last year. In California, we’re addressing this gap through strong laws, pay transparency, and our California Equal Pay Pledge. I’m especially proud
