This is Wright's 6th year as head coach of the Mount Zion High School Lady Basketball Team. Under his leadership, the Lady Eagles won the first ever region championship in school history during the 2021-22 season. Wright was named the Region Coach of the Year following the 2021-22 season.
David Cottrell is in his 9th season as Head Basketball Coach at Temple High School. This is Coach Cottrell’s 22nd year teaching and coaching. Cottrell received his B.S. Degree from the University of North Alabama and his Masters from JSU. Cottrell and his wife Misty have one son, Cole.
Prior to coming to Villa Rica High School as the head boys' basketball coach, Mitchell guided Voorhees to 114 victories in 6 seasons. Mitchell earned his Bachelor’s in economics at Tougaloo College (Miss.) and a Master’s in coaching and sports studies at the US Sports Academy. #WeAreVR
LeRonnice Davis is the new head boys' basketball coach at Mount Zion High School. This is the start of year five of Coach Davis’s coaching career, and his experience includes coaching on the middle and high school levels. Coach Davis is ecstatic to join the Mount Zion family! #EaglesRiseUp
Randall Curbow is a 1993 graduate of Bowdon High School. He is in his 26th year of coaching after graduating from the University of West Georgia. He is married to Chassy Curbow, and they have four children, Chance, Brooklyn, Tripp, and Madilyn. #ForksUp #24Strong

Angie Gibbs is the cluster lead nurse for the Bowdon Schools. In 2017, Mrs. Gibbs began coaching cheerleading at Bowdon High School. Angie lives in Bowdon with her husband, Dan Gibbs. She has three children, Daniel, Gracie, and Jessi. #ForksUp #24Strong
Basketball Cheerleading coach, Sandy Eisner has been teaching for 13 years. This is her 3rd year at Temple High School. Eisner has 4 college degrees and lives in Carrollton with her husband, mother, and black lab, Sofie. #TigerPride #24Strong
"My name is Caleb Hannah & I'm in my 3rd year of coaching at Mount Zion High School. This is my 9th year in Education and 8th head coaching. I obtained my Bachelor's Degree from UWG. I've been married for 7 years to Amber, & we have 3 beautiful children named Huck, Piper, and Hattie."
Coach Cody Knight is in his 2nd season as the head coach of the Central High School wrestling team. The Lions are coming off of a region duals title in 2021-22. Coach Knight is married to Christen Knight of Moultrie, GA, and they have two dogs, Dixie and Josey. #LionStrong #24Strong
This is Coach Garner's third year at Temple High School. He is in his 15th year of coaching and teaching with stints at Rockmart, Carrollton and Newnan High Schools where he served as the head coach of track, lacrosse and wrestling. #TigerPride #24Strong
Sean Moistner enters his 29th season as a Head Coach; his first year at Temple High School. He has 532 dual wins, coached 228 State Qualifiers, 103 State Placers, 34 State Finalists, 20 State Champions, and 30 USA / NHSCA Folkstyle All-Americans. Moistner teaches English Lit at THS.
Coach Thomas is a 2013 graduate of CHS. He earned his bachelor's in History from UWG in 2018 and began teaching U.S. History at Bowdon High School in the fall of 2018. He is the head wrestling coach for the Bowdon Red Devils as well as coaching football. Thomas is married to Kendall.
Coach Laymon is the head wrestling coach at Villa Rica High School. Laymon graduated from JSU where he majored in Health and Physical Education. During the 2019-2020 season, Laymon led the wrestling team to its first Region Championship then again during the 2021-2022 season. #WeAreVR

Coach Presnell is beginning his 6th year of teaching & his 3rd year in the Central cluster, first at CMS. Presnell moved to Central High School this year to teach science coach baseball. Presnell is married to Jordan who is also an active part of CCS as a teacher at VRHS. #LionStrong
Coach Wright is a 2009 graduate of CHS. He earned a bachelor’s in health & physical education from UWG in 2013 while playing baseball. In 2022, he earned a master’s in health & physical education from UWG. Wright is entering his 8th year as the head baseball coach at Mount Zion High School.
Coach Hochstetler is an educator & coach with 13 years of experience. This is Coach Hochstetler’s first year as Temple High School’s Head Baseball Coach. Hochstetler and his wife, Janel, have two daughters, Harper & Hayden, & a grandchild, Ridley.
Coach Wade Bailey is a Villa Rica High School alumni, where he played baseball for 4 years, & went on to play baseball at GT. Bailey has coached baseball at VRHS for 4 years as the Head JV Coach and Varsity Assistant. This season will be Coach Bailey's first year as Head Varsity Coach.
