This week, the ECC is welcoming families of students going to kindergarten next year to celebrate Preschool Graduation together before the last day of school on June 4. Congrats to our young grads and their families as they prepare for the next phase in their educational journey!

Recently, all Heritage Lakes 1st graders, as well as 3rd-5th graders receiving specialized academic support, visited the Brookfield Zoo! It was a beautiful day that offered students the opportunity to meet key learning standards through observation and analysis!

The Forest Preserve District of DuPage County led Cloverdale 2nd graders through their Owl Investigation program today. After an engaging presentation, students inspected & analyzed the contents of owl pellets to determine specifically what prey the carnivorous birds had eaten.

Congratulations to CCSD93’s 8th graders, who marked the end of their middle school journey with graduation on Saturday! We couldn’t be prouder and wish each of them continued success in high school and beyond!

CCSD93 schools build community and promote positive behavior with trimesterly PBIS celebrations. Students have had a blast wrapping up the year, with highlights like a Masked Singer competition, a talent show with a duct-taped PE teacher & visits from Bluey and Belle!

Today was Step-Up Day in CCSD93! 5th graders visited their future middle schools, while other students explored next year’s classrooms & teachers. Preschoolers stepped up to kindergarten a couple of weeks ago. This prepares our learners to hit the ground running in 2025-26!

Cloverdale 5th graders can now add published author to their list of accomplishments! After a year of journaling, they created illustrated hardcover books of their best work & shared them with peers, families, staff & community members at a Publishing Party in the IC this week!

School’s out for summer! 5th graders just made their final elementary school exits, and many were treated to clap outs from peers and staff. Carol Stream School added a bubble machine to the equation for an even more *uplifting* experience.

As the school year concluded yesterday, students in Roy DeShane’s Global Academy celebrated their remarkable achievement of learning English by performing semi-biographical poetry readings for family and peers!

Western Trails’ 3rd graders brought history to life in their Living Museum this week! Students became figures like Fred Rogers, Kalpana Chawla, Dwayne Johnson, Frida Kahlo and more, performing in costume for parents and peers after researching biographies. Way to go, Wildcats!

Incoming 2nd through 8th graders from across the district are at Cloverdale for a thrilling STEAM Camp experience this week! From hands-on experiments to creative challenges, our young learners are diving into science, technology, engineering, art & math in fun & inspiring ways!

CCSD93’s weeklong STEAM Camp wrapped up today! Students entering grades 2-8 took on engineering & architecture challenges, designing everything from storm-resistant tents to earthquake-proof structures to entire cities, all while building problem-solving skills. Find out more!
