TJ brings the bats to Rippey_baseball today, defending the rematch of ‘53 championship winning 12-5. Garrett Denman, Peyton and Jordan Steinspring each had a double and two hits. Huey, Anderson, and Komor also chipped in two hits each. Aaron Grell 6inn 9Ks for the win.

Jackets drop the first game in Battle of the Bluffs 3-15 to a good Bettendorf team. Garrett Denman was 2/2 w a sac fly. Huey, Anderson, Lesley, and Peyton Steinspring all chipped in a hit each.

Game two vs Des Moines Lincoln the bomb squad showed up. Tyler Huey 2/3 w a 2b, a grandslam, 3r and 5rbi 2sb. Garrett Denman hit a 2R HR. Nate Anderson 2/3 2rbi 3r 3sb. Kendall Bell 3/4 2rbi 1r. Andrew Peacock scattered 3r on 6h for the win. Go Jackets!
