Fast moving band of snow will exit the area by 7 pm! Could drop some quick accumulation on the grass. Thankfully, roads should be ok.

Yes there is a severe weather risk for Friday, but it's very murky. There will be several rounds of showers and embedded storms throughout the day, and that will limit some of the instability. Best chance for severe weather would be away from the lakefront.

Multiple rounds of storms are likely on Friday. There will likely be storms between 7 am and noon. Another during the late afternoon, and finally a late evening round. While all modes of severe are possible, winds and hail would be the most likely for our area.
