The Kingsley Napley Family acted for the father in this case with Sophie Connors of 4PB and Charlotte Hartley of 1KBW Chambers. The parents arbitrated and the mother challenged the decision. GvG followed and the arbitration was upheld.

The Law Commission’s recommendations have now been published. These provide for a new surrogacy pathway, regulated surrogacy organisations and a surrogacy register. Many other welcome changes but we need to keep momentum.
