Yesterday, we turned up the fun with a mix of 'Did You Know?' trivia, riddles, and spelling bee! This sparked lively conversations in our paired groups, sharpening communication skills. We celebrated one of our lovely kids at the hub! And we wish her the best! Department for Education

Yesterday's creative session at our HAF program brought an interesting approach to art making, as children participated in a hands-on creative engagement where they repurposed everyday materials into artistic creations. Join us today! We look forward to it!! Department for Education

In a nutshell, we can call today our culinary day. Why not, we went all out in the kitchen and all our children participated in the cooking. We had a good time making salad from scratch, baking biscuits and cake, and glazing our cake with icing and sprinkles. Department for Education

Yesterday, we bid our cheerful little ones and our awesome big ones, see you later. What a fantastic summer this has been! To close out our HAF summer program for 2024, we visited our Rochdale Town Hall, played football and had our party where we levelled it up!🎉 Department for Education

Every first Saturday, we hold our Friends of Shamwari event for refugees and asylum seekers. Well, this Saturday, the 7th of September is another time. This is not just an event, it's home and we look forward to having you. Don't hesitate to share with everyone that needs it!!

Today's women workshop was led by a facilitator from Living Well and we had our blood pressures checked. Our women were gifted blood pressure monitors to help track their blood pressure at home and seek help if any warning signs arise. We are so glad that we can be of help!!

At our ESOL class, we learned the importance of double-checking facts, being clear when communicating, similarities and differences, and how being specific can make the difference in communication. It was a reminder that effective communication starts with accuracy and clarity!
