The same people who mocked English and humanities degrees as "unserious" or "easy" compared to STEM or business degrees are now making posts about how they need ChatGPT to "translate" classic novels into "modern English."

So many good modern European microhistories published in the last few decades. Would be awesome if somebody could map them all out!

I think some behaviors need to be socially shamed, like using AI to generate a novel or chatbots to write grocery lists. Ceding your mental and creative abilities to a machine is an embarrassing thing and people should be ashamed to admit doing it in public.
