California: Crews were able to successfully attack the Frazier Fire in Kern County over the last 24 hours due to a few key points relayed by the Los Padres National Forest. First, The Tecuya Ridge fuel break provided a great advantage to firefighters responding to the fire.

Air tankers are hard at work on the Frazier fire, assisting ground troops. Each flight is carefully coordinated by air attack and operates only when conditions are safe. The safety of our firefighters and the public is always the top priority as these operations continue.
