The impacts of rural hospital closures are real. #MackenzieBC resident Jeannette Brosinsky shared her story of her recent health scare & drive to #CityofPG: “Your heart is pounding, there is a lot of pain, and the fear of if I’m going to see my family again.” The NDP are

With sky high youth unemployment, people are fleeing BC because they can’t see a future here. I talked to Mike Smyth this morning about business and consumer confidence, labour force numbers, and a recent report showing a record number of people leaving BC. #bcpoli

I was at KIts beach today volunteering at a kiosk for a municipal opposition party - chatting with people about their hopes, fears and priorities for the city. Unsurprisingly the top three concerns were affordability, crime and personal safety, homelessness and drugs. But then

Private property rights are the foundation of our democracy and our country. Any decision that attacks our private property rights needs to be appealed and overturned. Indigenous title and private property rights CANNOT co-exist overtop one another. Losing private property

A little #BCHealth scoop: The Provincial Health Services Authority has quietly cut more than 50 staff and eliminated more than 60 vacancies after a previously unpublicized ministry directive to balance its budget, internal memos show. #bcpoli theglobeandmail.com/canada/british…

Great visit with Julian Tile! A long-standing Burnaby business. We heard directly from Randy & Stephanie about the challenges they’re facing - rising costs, overregulation and bureaucracy. Without businesses like this, BC wouldn’t be what it is today - and they deserve better.

For over a century, the Italian community has played a vital role in building BC. Today their concerns mirror those across the province: rising taxes, affordability & public safety. Thanks Mauro Francis, IL CENTRO - Italian Cultural Centre and the entrepreneurs who help bring back common sense to BC!
