There's a prevailing assumption in crypto that products like cashtab are impossible, because 1. They are impossible on $BTC and $ETH 2. Not one of the utxo chains that claim to scale has managed to produce anything comparable ...even though cashtab is open source

people are so used to financial products working poorly that this is often engineered into crypto products to boost social proof the most succcessful projects have sunk 1000s of engineering hours into this
