#AXSChat Q5/2: For “next great accessibility thing” I’m looking at 2 specific areas: #Personalization & #MachineLearning. A more usable experience from good personalization (login settings or cookies with appropriate consent) will generally be a more accessible experience.

#AXSChat Q5/3: Everyone complains about the cost and time for manual #accessibility testing. Using machine learning to better automate that which currently requires humans to interpret 100 % of will allow us to put those accessibility resources into research

#AXSChat Q6/1 I think the two approaches - #governance #compliance and #business #differentiation- are not mutually exclusive. My preferred approach hybridizes the two.

#AXSChat Q6/2 When #accessibility is considered a part of the #GRC #compliance #framework, accessibility leaders are no longer arguing about IF accessibility will be done, but how it will be done.

#AXSChat Q6/3 #Regulatory issues get a seat at the RM table. The prescribed #accessibility testing must be done. It is well understood by all the stakeholders that releases can and will be delayed if the results aren’t good enough. #exceptions require #process

#AXSChat Q6/4 No one has ever said “you have to stop working on accessibility the second you achieve WCAG 2.0 Level AA” The guidelines are a floor, not a maximum or a goal. That is where the #business #differentiator side of the hybrid solution kicks in.

#AXSChat Q6/5 Even if you focus on #usability and not #accessibility per se, a more usable piece of software will generally be more #accessible as well. And a #business #differentiator
