Cirium Diio schedules show Delta's introducing the CRJ550 on the Salt Lake City-West Yellowstone route on July 31. However, the plane is only scheduled that one day so this may be a placeholder.

SkyWest execs have said they plan to introduce the 550 with Delta this summer.

.Spirit Airlines throws its hat in the ring with San José Mineta International Airport (SJC) for 1 of the 5 new beyond-perimeter slot pairs at Reagan Airport proposing the first-ever DCA-SJC nonstop.

If approved, this would be Spirit's only flight to DCA, which it left in 2012 to concentrate flights at BWI.

The other thing worth noting here is that most of Tokyo’s highways are 4 lanes. Houston’s highways are 28 lanes.

Tokyo has less traffic.

It’s almost like widening highways doesn’t reduce traffic.
