Cypriot earthworms are migrants!

As the island rose from the sea due to tectonic activity, no earthworms were on the island originally!

~5m yrs ago, the drying of the Med. sea briefly revealed previously undersea ridges. Earthworms could then cross this land reach the island!

Tomorrow, MPs are due to debate regulations which will make it harder to sanction polluting water companies🌊

MPs must stand up for our rivers, lakes & streams by calling for these regulations to be withdrawn - with related advice amended📢
