Immigration officers have arrested 17 foreign nationals, 16 Tanzanians and 1 Malawian, in Chingola en route to Mufumbwe for illegal gold mining. Metal detectors were seized. In a separate Lusaka crackdown, 9 permits were revoked for violating immigration conditions.
