#YorkshireDay Edward Alleyn's mother Margaret Townley was from Yorkshire and it was on a trip to Aysgarth in 1626, to view land he was interested in buying, that he caught a chill which led to his death. There are both Aysgarth and Townley roads in #Dulwich.

How to celebrate Shakespeare-and Burbage-in style. We loved Harry Christophers and the Sixteen with actors adding context to the extraordinary soundscape. Congratulations to all involved in the Festival. And there’s more to come. @ShoreditchChurch The Theatre Courtyard Gallery #ShakeItUp
