Heart warming to attend the 1st birthday party of the CHUFT Blanketeers, an amazing group of people who meet up every other Saturday to knit and crochet making blankets to give comfort to end of life patients and their families in Colchester. 700 blankets in their first year.

Any increase in funding would be phenomenal to see but Chiefs will need to be honest, the huge cuts began 10 years ago and it's taken this long for it to show in rising violent crime. We will work our hardest with new funding but it will also take years to reverse the trend.
