Not all areas have municipal fire hydrants. In these areas FD’s have preset water sources to get water from. With these unprecedented drought conditions firefighters have to go further than normal in some cases to get more water as some of these water supplies are drying up!

Mendon MA, Washington Street- truck vs pole, wires and pole are down in the roadway. PD/ FD on scene reporting the wires are all around the truck and the occupants are “trapped” in the vehicle due to the energized wires.
