Today in 1945 at Moraine Country Club in Dayton, Ohio, Byron Nelson (pictured far right) won his 2nd #PGAChamp. It was the 5th and final major for "Lord Byron."

By request from JT, a few from Moraine Country Club, a 1930 design by Alex Nipper Campbell. The wonderful landforms here had become obscured by trees and the excellent greens had been dulled and shrunk with time. In 2015, Keith Foster expertly restored the course.
