Well after an awesome women’s week at Buck Chasers, we drove out to Nebraska for merriams and I got lucky and killed the first bird in a hail storm and doubled up this morning with good friend Kenny on another great bird. Tagged out in less than 24 hours. Blessed beyond measure.

That makes 4 out of 6. Congrats to Raven on a beautiful bird. 2 more to go. Womens week 2024 is on fire once again.

First day of the 2024 Womens Turkey hunt is off to a great start. Big congrats to Miranda and Heather on already tagging out. Several more opportunities on jakes but we are waiting on old Tom.

Well, made a new friend today and shot all the feathers off a good bird but he got away. Note to self, never trust a gun that’s been dropped. We are sighted back in and going back after it. Bad luck this am but still blessed to be doing what I love.

Check out this amazing handicap blind that @saddaddyhuntingblinds custom made us for our handicap hunters. It’s on sleds for easy movement, 8 ft long by 6 ft wide 7 ft to center. Enough room for any track chair to turn around in, easy metal ramp to get into blind.

Did our annual burn off of 40 acres last night.

Big congrats to Leyton on getting it done at Buck Chasers on the youth season. Not only did he kill a great turkey but he caught some beautiful trout. Way to go buddy. Big thanks to Mr Ken for guiding him and calling in the bird.

Another step closer to my single season world slam. Big thanks to Joey Bruce for inviting us down to his place in Alabama. Joey and David put on a hen fighting sequence and this boy couldn’t take it. Great time with great friends.

Awesome first sit here in Alabama at our good friend Joey Bruce place. David made a great 50 yard shot and dropped him. The wood haven fusion call is on fire this year.

Trails cams are out and already getting great birds all over.

Let us not forget the real reason we celebrate Easter. He died for our sins, the tomb was rolled away, He will return. Thank you God for all the blessings you have given to us all.

That's a wrap on our shed season 2024. It’s time to get ready for turkeys now. There’s still a few holding their antlers but it’s time to shift to turkey hunting. We ended up with 100 sheds and 10 sets over all. Not bad considering we havnt even covered all the properties yet.
