We had such an amazing turnout for our Fall in Love with Math Festival here at Buckingham Exceptional Student Center. We started the day off by handing out candy to all students at each classroom door, then the fun continued with lots of fun games in our multi-purpose room.

We had such an amazing turn out for our Junior Achievement Career expo event here at Buckingham. Thirteen neighboring High schools and our students were able to take part in learning about local business, using actual equipment/tools from job sites.

Next week, January 22nd–26th is Literacy Week. it's designed to raise awareness about the importance of reading and to inspire Florida's students to make reading part of their daily routines. We will be participating this year by wearing specific attire each day next week.

Room 8 took a CBI (Community Based Instruction) trip to Centennial Park. They enjoyed the accessible playground and great weather!

Best Home Services was at Buckingham this past weekend updating our playground. They built a ramp, so our students in wheelchairs can use the adaptive swing. The electricians installed new fans to keep our students cool. To help our school improvements, please scan the QR code.

BESC's Garden Club learned about tagged monarchs from 1tag.org. Our Garden Club will release these amazing monarchs at dismissal in celebration of our school's 40th anniversary!
