1/10 11 MONTHS. That’s how long @FirstBankNG froze my account. Not for fraud. Not for debt. But over ₦3,500—a payment for CHICKEN sold in 2020. Yes, you read right, N3,500 was why FirstBank upended my life. A thread on corporate bullying in Nigeria. 🧵 #FirstBankFraud

2/10 FirstBank got an ex-parte order to freeze my account. No notice. No explanation. Just sudden financial suffocation. I was guilty until proven innocent. Is this how banks treat customers? #WhoRegulatesTheBanks

3/10 I went to COURT to reclaim my rights. The judge ruled: ✅ The freeze was UNLAWFUL. ✅ FirstBank must pay the pittance they were awarded in damages (which can't even pay my legal fees). But what did they do? APPEALED

4/10 Let’s be clear: ₦3,500 was the "crime." A tiny amount is court-ordered damages. MILLIONS is what they’re spending on lawyers to avoid responsibility. FirstBank Nigeria would rather fight the law than pay what's pocket change to them. A bank that despises its customers.

5/10 I’ve waited since Thursday for @FirstBankNG to explain: ❌ Why freeze an account over ₦3,500? ❌ Why ignore a court order? ❌ Who approved this shameful appeal? Silence. So now, Nigeria will hear the truth.

6/10 To @FirstBankNG’s leadership FirstBankGhana, You LOST in court. Yet you’d rather burn shareholder funds than pay the pennies in damages. Is this your "customer-first" policy? Or is arrogance now your core value?

7/10 This isn’t just about me. If @FirstBankNG can freeze accounts unlawfully, ignore court orders, and bully customers into silence, YOU’RE NEXT. No business owner is safe. No salary earner is safe. No Nigerian is safe.

8/10 Demands: 1️⃣ @FirstBankNG DROP THE APPEAL immediately. 2️⃣ Pay the damages as ordered by the court. 3️⃣ @CBNNigeria sanction this abuse of ex-parte orders. Retweet if you’ve had enough. #EndBankBullying
