The Rudder HS Construction program participated in the Jr. Brick Layer 500 where students, David Mendoza and Jose Methaniel had an opportunity to compete in a masonry competition to showcase their skills.

Our Rudder #CTE students traveled to Waco, TX to attend the Texas State Technical College Fall Preview Discovery Day. Students were on guided tours of all of the major programs at TSTC.

Bryan ISD SkillsUSA student officers from Bryan HS and Rudder HS traveled to Huntsville, TX to participate in the SkillsUSA Texas District 7 Fall Leadership Conference. Students were able to learn about SkillsUSA, learn leadership skills, and met industry leaders.

Rudder High School Health Science students celebrated the holidays together at their annual holiday social. Students learned that building camaraderie in the workplace is just as valuable as the content and hands on skills.

The Bryan ISD CTE Department hosted a Regional Masonry Student training event, in partnership with the Texas Masonry Council and with TV Personality Kayleen McCabe, at their Career & Technical Education Complex.

Over the weekend, our Davila Robotics teams traveled to compete in the VEX VRC Aggieland Classic. Out of 28 total teams (26 High School and 2 Middle School), our two Davila Teams finished 6th and 12th in the preliminary rounds of a tournament.

Rudder BPA students recently competed at Regional Conference at Pflugerville High School and displayed their excellence in their commitment to their educational goals. Congratulations to the 13 outstanding students who competed at Regionals and earned their way to State!
