My participation in the Lafayette Bicentennial concluded Saturday with a Lafayette Birthday cruise on the Potomac. During the 13 months, the American Friends of Lafayette held more than 300 events in 24 states. Well done all!

I enjoyed presenting my Lafayette talk to the Pennsylvania Society of Sons of the Revolution at Historic Waynesborough. Great group! Saturday I’m signing at the Books! Books! Books! At the Wyndham Lancaster Resort, Lincoln Hwy, from noon until 5 p.m.

Last evening I was honored to give a talk before the Men’s group at Wagontown Union Chapel. I talked about Journeys, my own spiritual journey along with my book journeys, including the one I’m researching on Col. Chaplain Zimmerman, who survived the Bataan Death March.

Just returned from Yorktown. One woman purchased multiple copies of my non-fiction book for students and young adults, Lafayette: America’s Young Hero and Guest, and said “just what I was seeking!”

Neumann University’s Cultural Arts Forum featured my presentation on my book A Killer at the Door Thursday. As part of the Author’s Corner of the university’s Special Events section, I spoke before an excellent crowd.

Spent a portion of Sunday taking part in the filming of an episode of Travels With Darley, on Lafayette and Brandywine. Darley Newman is an Emmy Award-nominated host . Joining me were Randell Spackman of Thornbury Farms and Patrick Byrnes, proprietor of the General Warren.

Thursday at 6:30 p.m. I’m speaking in Kennett Square at Lette’s Tavern, 201 E. State St., on county true crime, including the Johnston Gang, and personal paranormal stories. Saturday at 1 p.m. I’m at the Mill at Anselma, 1730 Conestoga Rd, Chester Springs, speaking on Brandywine.
