Bringing my Tradewinds Middle students into the future of tech, today!

Yesterday completed my and Mariela Pajuelo’s UF #BroaderImpacts grad course. Anthropology, biology, geology, education, engineering, entomology & wildlife students presented final class projects aimed at getting their science to reach broader audiences. #SciComm #SciEd #Outreach

Congrats to my graduate student, Stephanie Killingsworth, on her first paper, published today in Paleobiology (The Paleontological Society). This analysis predicts which fossil horses occurred in FL. Studies like this show fossil horses have a long history on our continent. doi.org/10.1017/pab.20…

🌟 Thrilled to unveil our latest piece in The Conversation U.S. shedding light on the ancient history of horses in the Americas [Bruce MacFadden and myself]. Special thanks to Maggie Villiger for invaluable guidance throughout! Dive in: [theconversation.com/horses-lived-i… 🐎 #Paleontology
