Kudos to César Caraballo Cordovez for his leadership of this study; and to a remarkable team Carley Riley Brita Roy Yuan Lu Chima Ndumele Jeph Herrin. Great team effort, but we were disheartened to see the results. We need to improve and be accountable for these key metrics.



Our paper, led by Yuan Lu, showed hospitalization rates for acute hypertension increased 1999-2019.
