Getting it wrong on disability rights. Societies don’t just fail to accommodate disability — they can be actively disabling in themselves. unsw.edu.au/newsroom/news/…

I have a question about GLP/NLA - the book describes non-speaking kids using silent gestalts, other kids using mega-gestalts. Do clinicians using approaches based on GLp/NLA classify different types of gestalts based on what? Also single word gestalts? #GestaltLanguageProcessing

So brilliant to have both Mariam Malik and Dr Sharon Adjei-Nicol share and contribute to our #sltbookgrp this evening. Looking forward to hearing from more voices from the margin during the coming months. #reflexivity #thrilled Louise Coigley

What questions do YOU have about #GestaltLanguageProcessing and I will try to answer them (if I can!!) first at Communication Matters on Monday then at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children on Wednesday. #Sloeeos #Slt #GLP #NLA

No answers to this one yet. Do clinicians use these terms which are in the book? (Sub-types of gestalts) particularly “silent gestalts”. ?
