M Adryael Tong, Ph.D. (plus Blue Sky and Threads) What I do not care for about my fellow Christians (I have a doctorate in Rabbinics, so am an odd duck) is that those few who do reject the bible do so simplistically and disrespectfully, & reject exegetical history.

Why not see it as both inspired *&* flawed and reinterpret it?

If Senator McCarthy had successfully driven out communist thinkers, America would have lost an entire generation of conservative intellectuals.

One frustrating aspect of my current cultural bubble. I only really hear from conservative Christians when progressive Christians bring up something especially odious. This does warp my perceptions.
