Britney had two kids back to back with Kevin within the span of a year. She was suffering from prenatal depression and meanwhile, the public and the media were actively rooting against her marriage.

There were many allegations of Kevin cheating on Britney throughout the relationship.

The final straw for Britney was when a friend showed her incriminating info about Kevin on his phone. She knew then it was over.

Britney announced her divorce on the night of the election in 2006 and The View literally celebrated the next morning by releasing confetti.

Kevin retaliated by filing for sole custody and writing “give me my kids b*tch!” on a bathroom stall. This proves Kevin never really wanted his kids to have a good relationship with their mother.

In fact, court documents show Kevin used Britney’s kids as a “carrot” to force her into rehab in 2007.

Kevin became allies with Jamie and Lynne Spears and would always allow them see the kids and not Britney. At one point, Britney even accused Kevin of sleeping with her mom.

Despite being one of the people who legally HAD to know the details of Britney’s conservatorship, Kevin never petitioned the court to terminate it. Instead, Britney was threatened with access to her kids if she petitioned to terminate herself.
