The Society was saddened to learn of the passing of former Society chairman Peter Dixon-Smith, Lyons. A renowned breeder, particularly of the Dutch-type of Texel, Peter was chairman from 1989 to 1991 and was also an accomplished dairy farmer, breeding pedigree Holsteins.
