In my totally unbiased opinion, Kentucky has the most beautiful state capitol.🌷 Thank you to the amazing Capitol grounds staff for taking care of the people's house.

All moms and babies deserve access to quality maternity health care. I was proud to join UofL Health to celebrate the new birthing center at Mary & Elizabeth Hospital. This is a vital expansion of labor and delivery services for families in South Louisville.

There's nothing better than seeing the joy on a child's face when you read a story together. Let's keep working for family literacy on #NationalReadaBookDay.

I'm so proud of Andy for receiving the Prevent Child Abuse Lifetime Achievement Award. As a dad, there is nothing more important to him than keeping Kentucky's children safe. And he has spent every day in public office working to protect our kids.

This #HungerActionMonth, we remember that it's our sacred duty to help our fellow human beings. That means ensuring no Kentuckian goes hungry. From participating in food drives to fighting for food assistance, it's on us to come together in support of our vulnerable families.

One Kentuckian lost to suicide is too many. We must work to increase mental health care access and remind people there are resources to help, like the 988 lifeline. Together we can lead with love and make sure no one is afraid to reach out for help. #WorldSuicidePreventionDay

Today, Andy and I donated blood to help our neighbors in need. This is one of the most impactful ways we can show love to our community. Kentucky, I know that together we can combat this shortage by doing what we do best – coming together to save lives. ❤️ Governor.ky.gov/GiveBlood

On #StandUptoCancerDay, we celebrate the bravery and strength of those battling cancer. Together, we can ensure every family has access to affordable health care. And together we can continue fighting to find a cure.

Andy has fought for recovery resources in the commonwealth so every person who's ready to take the brave step to overcome addiction knows they are supported. He believes we should lead with love and extend a helping hand to those in need. That's how we save lives. #RecoveryMonth
