As a continuation of their topic about rainforests, our South School's year 4 students have been reading a book called 'The Explorer' by Katherine Rundell. This story is about some children stranded in the Amazon Rainforest. Super work, Year 4 South!

During the last week of the 2nd Term, Year 3 & 4 students performed a fantastic play about bees. It’s been amazing to see all the skills they are getting. They’ve been rehearsing for months and being able perform the show in front of their parents made them really happy.

Our Year 1 & 2 Tafira students love to write. Watch them write their names during the Calligraphy club. Calligraphy stimulates neuronal activity, helping us to develop a broader vocabulary and write texts that are more comprehensive.

Last Thursday was the last day of our Year 13 students’ visits to El Sabinal hospice. It’s a wonderful experience where the students learn and are able to see a reality which sometimes is hidden.

Today, our year 13 students enjoyed a practical chemistry lesson. This time, they prepared an aspirin by performing the reactions of acid anhydrides. On Monday, they will check the purity of the experiment. That was amazing, Year 13!

Year 3 Tafira followed instructions carefully to plant some seeds! They chose between cosmos flower, radish or lettuce seeds. We can't wait for them to germinate. 🌱🌱🌱

Our South School's year 2 students have been looking closely at the artist Laura Del Pazo. The children created their own Amazon paintings in the style of Laura Del Pazo's artwork. These paintings are amazing, Year 2 South. Very well done!

As part of our science work on plants, Year 1 Tafira visited Jardin Canario. We saw lots of beautiful flowers and trees and some some animals in the pond too. We also watched a puppet show and leaned some songs to help us learn the names of some plants.

Small actions, big impact! 💪🌟 Last Week, a Year 7 student used his own pocket money to bring food for a special cause. Together, let's support 'Banco de Alimentos' in their mission to fight hunger. Every contribution counts, no matter how small. #GivingBack #FoodCollection
