It's a great loss to Bristol, and the wider cultural community in the UK, that Bristol Ideas is closing this week. Given the mass of people who have weighed in to express regret at the loss of 30+ years of events it seems baffling that it must now end.

For years, I've been a keen collector of #BristolBroadsides booklets. Broadsides was a radical publisher in the late-1970s and 1980s. So working on this oral history project for Bristol Ideas was a treat. Now published online: bristolideas.co.uk/read/bristol-b… #BristolHistory
